👤 HOW TO REGISTER FOR MINDGAMES TOURNAMENTS

📋 Registration Steps
Registration closes 24 hours before the tournament begins.
1️⃣ Join the official MindGamesWorld club on Lichess.
🔑 Club Access Code: MGWORLD

2️⃣ Choose the tournament you would like to participate in.
3️⃣ Go to the “Tournament Registration” section to register, pay the entry fee, and receive your tournament access code.
4️⃣ Once your registration is confirmed, your tournament access code will be sent to you via Telegram before the tournament begins.
5️⃣ Join the tournament using your access code before the scheduled start time.
6️⃣ Participation is subject to the Tournament Rules and the Lichess Fair Play Policy.

5️⃣ 🔑 After your registration is confirmed, receive your tournament access code via Telegram.

6️⃣ 🔒 Only players with a valid access code are allowed to participate.

7️⃣ 💰 If the tournament is cancelled, the entry fee will be refunded.

8️⃣ ♟️ Violating the Tournament Rules or the Lichess Fair Play Policy may result in disqualification without a refund of the entry fee.

🏆 ENTRY FEE & PRIZE POLICY

💵 — 3 USD.
(The equivalent in another currency may be agreed in advance.)

📌 Entry fees are used for:

• tournament organization;
• technical support;
• forming the prize fund;
• development of the MindGames.world platform.

🥇 The prize fund depends on the number of confirmed participants and is specified in the description of each tournament.

👥 A tournament is held only if at least 10 players have confirmed their participation.

🔄 If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the tournament may be postponed or cancelled. If the tournament is cancelled, all confirmed entry fees will be refunded.

🚫 If a participant withdraws after registration has closed or does not join the tournament, the entry fee is non-refundable.

🔍 All games and prize-winning places may be reviewed in accordance with the Tournament Rules and the Lichess Fair Play Policy.

🏆 Prizes are paid on the day after the tournament following the review of all played games for compliance with the Tournament Rules and the Lichess Fair Play Policy.

⛔ Players who violate the Tournament Rules or the Lichess Fair Play Policy may be disqualified and lose their right to receive a prize.

1️⃣ General Information

Chess tournaments are held online.

All tournaments are played on Lichess.org.

2️⃣ Registration

To participate, players must:

• have a valid Lichess.org account;
• register through the official tournament link published on MindGames.world;
• use only one Lichess account.

Multiple accounts are not allowed.

3️⃣ Tournament Format

Each tournament announcement includes:

• ♟️ Time control
• 🏆 Tournament system (Arena, Swiss or Knockout)
• ⏰ Start time
• 📅 Date

Please check the tournament page before the event begins.

4️⃣ Game Rules

All games are played according to the official Lichess.org rules.

Scoring:

• Win — 1 point

• Draw — 0.5 points

• Loss — 0 points

Players are responsible for joining the tournament on time.

Internet connection problems or leaving a game may result in a loss.

5️⃣ Fair Play

The following is strictly prohibited:

❌ Using chess engines or external assistance

❌ Playing on another person’s account

❌ Account sharing

❌ Match-fixing or pre-arranged results

All games may be reviewed for fair play compliance.

Players who violate the rules will be immediately disqualified and may be banned from future MindGames tournaments.

6️⃣ Prizes

Prize information is shown in each tournament announcement.

Prize payments are made after the fair play review and final verification of the results.

7️⃣ Organizer Rights

MindGames.world reserves the right to:

• modify the tournament schedule if necessary;

• postpone or cancel a tournament;

• refund entry fees if a tournament is cancelled;

• disqualify players who violate the rules.

8️⃣ Communication

Official tournament information is published on MindGames.world.

Tournament results are published on our official social media channels.
